Our founding inspiration: A legacy of love
MYN stands for Mercy Yaa Nyarko — my mother, who passed away on 18th May 2026. She spent her life caring for others with so much love and empathy — always looking out for someone, always making people feel seen. When I lost her, I knew her way of loving people couldn't end with her.
MYN Homeside Companion is my tribute to her — caring for the elderly the same way she cared for everyone: with warmth, patience, and genuine love. Every client we support carries a piece of her legacy forward. This is more than a business. It's Mum's heart, living on. 🕊️

We ensure fair pay at £13/hour to attract and retain companions who genuinely want this role, leading to better, more consistent care for you and your loved ones.
